Responsibility

As education sector specialists we proudly take our responsibilities in the construction industry extremely seriously.

Our friendly and enthusiastic team have decades of experience delivering successful refurbishment projects in the education sector. As a company uniquely specialising in schools, nurseries and universities we are best placed to serve educational providers and meet their individual needs.
Our aim is 100% client satisfaction, always putting the customer first and ensuring that clients return to us time and time again.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of our site operatives and your staff is paramount and we are extremely proud of our Health & Safety record. We will prepare a pre-start Health and Safety plan for all projects, which we will implement at all times. This will incorporate any H&S procedures you already have in place and will hi-light any processes which carry a particular risk. We will provide you with a full set of RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) and will request that you provide us with an asbestos report if the building was constructed before the year 2000.

Certain projects fall within CDM (Construction, Design & Management) regulations 2015. If so we will appoint a CDM Co-Ordinator who will make sure that the contract is carried out in accordance with the regulations and all legal liabilities are met. Valuable information concerning CDM can be found on the HSE website or we would be delighted to answer any questions you have.

DBS and Safeguarding

We know how important safeguarding is to you and that’s why all of our contractors have an Enhanced DBS check. We can also provide copies of our training certificates including First Aid. You can rest assured that your project is safe in our hands.

Green Credentials

Our business is centered around creating amazing workplaces and transforming the interiors of buildings but that doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate our countryside, woodland and open spaces. We are committed to ensuring that our children, grand-children and future generations will enjoy their environment as much as we do. Therefore all of our projects and designs use materials from sustainable sources and for us, re-cycling is a way of life. Our M&E installations are designed to be as Eco-friendly as possible saving not only energy, but also reducing costs.

We work with our suppliers and manufacturers to reduce packaging and only work with companies whose ethos matches our own in terms of products from sustainable sources. We recycle wherever we can (donating barely-used furniture, for example, to schools and charities) and our waste transfer partners recycle approximately 80% of the materials they clear from our sites.

We think our planet is beautiful and we will do our bit to keep it that way. For more information see our Environmental Policy

Regulations

As well as Health & Safety, many fit out or construction projects need some form of statutory approval and may need to comply with current guide-lines.

We will work with you to help you understand your obligations and employ whatever resources are needed to ensure that these obligations are met.

We also work with Structural Engineers to make sure that any demolition/small building works we carry out within your building are safe and professionally executed.

Our commitment to professionalism and safety gives you complete peace of mind at every stage of your project.
