We are currently working on a project for Woking Boxing Club which is nearing completion. As the photos show the new mezzanine floor we have installed is nearly ready to be used. Heavy duty fixtures and fittings have been specified to ensure the newly refurbished space will withstand the demands of a working boxing club. The new mezzanine level has increased the available space by 50% which will provide valuable training space for the boxers using the gym.

To keep the project on budget it was important that the existing wooden gym flooring was kept so we had to work the new structure carefully into the current space. The flooring around the columns which were dropped in to support the new mezzanine had to be made good and ensure a smooth and seamless finish.

The black and chrome metal staircase up to the new floor blends well with the existing metal roof supports and the industrial down lighters that run across the ceiling. The gym below now feels so much more spacious without the large pieces of exercise equipment taking up floor space. Having the separate designated spaces will also help the boxers get the most out of their time at the gym.  We hope everyone at Woking Boxing Club enjoys using their new training space and we will be able to share some photos of the fully completed project soon.
