Finsbury Library contacted us to undertake their reception refurbishment. The brief was to make the library a warm and welcoming place to visit while keeping inline with their digital branding profile.

The dominant feature was the curved partition wall built using oak slats and a large bespoke reception desk. The doors of the same oak were set into the partitioning to create a smooth, seamless wall. Feature LED lighting was placed in the shadow gap around the partitioning to create a halo effect and a plasterboard ceiling was built. The no slip vinyl flooring in a neutral colour and glass doors created a sense of space and light.
